Who NV1 is for
NV1 is what Defence-industry roles ask for when the work touches SECRET data or SECRET-rated networks. That covers cyber security specialists, penetration testers, systems engineers on classified programs, software engineers on classified builds, ICT support inside Defence estates, and project managers on classified capability projects.
The demand right now
AUKUS, sovereign cyber, and Defence digital transformation are creating thousands of new NV1 roles. Salaries at NV1 sit meaningfully above equivalent uncleared roles. Many companies cannot fill their NV1 backlog.
How we sponsor NV1
Logi-Tech is DISP Level 3 accredited. That covers Baseline, NV1 and NV2 sponsorship. We submit and manage your NV1 application through AGSVA. You do not need a Defence-industry job offer to start.
Once cleared, you can take the NV1 to any employer that needs cleared talent. Or you can join our Security Cleared Career pathway and be placed with a Defence-industry client through our Para Bellum Group network.
Timeframe and cost
NV1 processing usually takes about 70 business days once your paperwork is complete. Fee is $4,730 all-in, including AGSVA fees and 12 months of sponsorship. Payment via Zip is available.
What AGSVA checks
NV1 is a deeper check than Baseline. AGSVA reviews 10 years of your background, checks financial history, examines foreign contacts, and interviews referees. If you have travelled or lived overseas, expect additional questions. Being upfront and consistent is the key.
