The clearance process, in six parts.

Clearance types
▾Australia has four security clearance levels administered by AGSVA: Baseline (site access & basic protected info), NV1 (secret), NV2 (top secret), and Positive Vetting (highly sensitive intelligence). Baseline and NV1 cover 80% of defence-industry roles in Adelaide.
Vetting process
▾Once sponsored, you complete an ePack via myClearance. AGSVA runs identity, financial, character and criminal history checks. NV1 and above involve referee interviews. We prep you for every stage so nothing surprises you.
Timeframes
▾Baseline: typically 2 to 6 weeks after ePack submission. NV1: 3 to 6 months. NV2: 6 to 12 months. These are AGSVA processing windows and vary by workload. We can't control them, but we can make sure your application isn't what slows it down.
Assessment checks
▾Identity, citizenship, criminal history (past 10 years), financial & credit, employment history, education, travel, foreign contact and referee interviews. For NV2, digital footprint and psychological suitability are also examined. Full transparency is always the fastest path.
DISP-accredited
▾The Defence Industry Security Program accredits sponsors. Logi-Tech is Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) Level 3 accredited, the tier that allows sponsorship from Baseline through TOP SECRET, with cyber-hardened infrastructure aligned to E8ML2. Not every sponsor is L3.
AGSVA fees
▾The Australian Government Security Vetting Agency charges every applicant a Commonwealth fee: NV1 is, NV2 is (from 1 July 2026). These fees are separate from any sponsorship fee, and they're paid to AGSVA directly, not to us.

Reimbursement pathway
Land a role with a Para Bellum Group client after clearance and stay on contract 60+ days within two years of your original application, we reimburse your sponsorship fee in full. Placement not guaranteed. T&Cs apply.
Zip payment plan
Split the sponsorship fee into four. Start your clearance without waiting for a lump sum. Zip is optional, no interest for eligible plans.
Career pathway to government
Logi-Tech is on federal and state government panels via the Para Bellum Group. We hire directly rather than referring you to third-party recruiters. Optional. T&Cs apply.

No. That's the whole point of what we do. Most employers want you already cleared before they'll hire. But you can't be cleared without a sponsor. As a DISP-accredited organisation, we can sponsor you directly and then help place you into defence-industry work.
Two components: our sponsorship fee and the AGSVA Commonwealth vetting fee. AGSVA fees are paid to the government, we don't take a cent of that. Zip payment plans are available on our fee.
Yes. Australian citizenship is a mandatory AGSVA requirement for all clearance levels. If you're applying for citizenship, we can talk to you now and start the paperwork the day it's granted.
Baseline: 2 to 6 weeks after ePack submission. NV1: 3 to 6 months. NV2: 6 to 12 months. Our part typically completes within 2 weeks. The rest is AGSVA processing time, which we don't control but do actively manage.
Denials are rare when the application is honest and complete. That's why we do a character & financial pre-check before you spend a dollar with AGSVA. If we identify a red flag early, we'll tell you plainly whether to proceed.
The Defence Industry Security Program has four levels of accreditation. is the tier that lets an organisation sponsor clearances from Baseline all the way to TOP SECRET, and requires demonstrated cyber, personnel and physical security controls. Logi-Tech is DISP-accredited.
Our HQ is in St Marys, Adelaide, with and Australia-wide delivery. We're happy to meet in person during the qualification stage, especially for NV1 and NV2 candidates.
Once cleared we introduce you to hiring defence primes, tier-2 suppliers and specialist consultancies via the Para Bellum Group. If you land a role with a Para Bellum Group client and complete at least 60 consecutive days on that contract within two years of your original clearance application, we reimburse your full sponsorship fee. Your annual sponsorship fee is waived while you're actively on that contract. Placement depends on live opportunities and client suitability, it is not guaranteed. Full T&Cs apply.
