✓ Addressed:
  • Removed “Money-back if wrongly assessed” chip and guarantee card (Jake: we don’t guarantee outcomes)
  • Reframed trade-placement: clearance unlocks trade work with head contractors, we do not place trades ourselves
  • Corrected pack-prep language (we don’t access candidate myClearance)
  • Disclosed $2,999 Security Incident Fee + non-payment cessation clause
  • Removed “DISP ” → “DISP-accredited”
  • Form now emails Ben directly on submit
⚠ Team review needed:
  • Trust chip “60-day reimbursement pathway”: Jake to confirm we actually have direct relationships with Osborne head contractors
  • “Trades” page framing: Emmeline notes we don’t place trades. Team confirm: do we keep this page targeting Baseline candidates (they still need the clearance) or repurpose entirely?

You want on-site. Nobody will sponsor a tradie.

Baseline sits at the entry level of defence clearances. But nobody makes it easy to get. Head contractors expect you to walk on site already cleared. Recruiters don't know how to sponsor. And the labour hire mob will tell you a different story every week.

Osborne site jobs pay well. But you can't apply without an active clearance.

Head contractors want you ready to boot up Monday. Not “in vetting”.

Recruiters push you toward jobs that don't need one, because they can't sponsor.

Nobody will just tell you what the paperwork actually is. In plain English.

We sponsor. You get on site.

Logi-Tech is DISP-accredited. This is the tier of accreditation that lets us sponsor Baseline (and above) directly for individuals. You don't need to be employed by a defence prime first. You come to us, we sponsor, AGSVA runs the vetting, and you're cleared for site work.

The whole thing is designed to slot around your day job. We take your info once, prep the paperwork properly, submit it, and handle AGSVA lodgement on your behalf. Most Baseline clearances land in 2 to 6 weeks after submission. Sometimes faster.

Once cleared, our Para Bellum Group placement pathway kicks in. Baseline is the ticket to trade roles across the AUKUS build. Head contractors on Osborne and tier-2 suppliers hire cleared tradies directly, they just cannot sponsor the clearance themselves. If you land a role with one of our Para Bellum Group clients (Logi-Tech, Enginium or Para Bellum Solutions) and complete at least 60 days on that contract within two years of your original clearance application, we reimburse your sponsorship fee in full. Placement is not guaranteed. T&Cs apply.

Locked out of Osborne

Walking past the site every week. Watching the rates on cleared jobs. Everyone tells you a different story about what a “Baseline” even is. Nobody can lodge it for you.

With Baseline in hand

Through the gate

Baseline granted in 2 to 6 weeks. Real Osborne work on the table. Cleared rates. You keep your existing tools, ABN and clients. Nothing about your setup changes except the door opens.

You keep the whole setup. We just sponsor the clearance.

Your ute

You bought it. You paid for the tools. It stays yours. We don’t put you in a company vehicle.

Your ABN

You’re sponsored as a contractor, not an employee. Your ABN keeps operating. Your accountant keeps invoicing the way you already do.

Your existing clients

The domestic sparky work, the mate’s-rates jobs, the private commercial fit-outs. Keep them. Standard clearance holder obligations apply (report material changes) but nothing stops you running your own book.

Your call on employers

Logi-Tech is your sponsor, not your labour hire. You choose whether to work through us, direct with a prime, or spread across multiple contracts.

Common concerns we hear from tradies

“I’ve got an old DUI / bankruptcy / financial hiccup.”

Workable in most cases. AGSVA looks for pattern and honesty, not perfection. We screen for obvious blockers during the free check and tell you upfront if we spot one.

“My partner or parents were born overseas.”

Declared foreign family is managed under Guideline B (Foreign Influence), which assesses vulnerability to coercion, not heritage. Not disqualifying when declared honestly.

“I’ve done a lot of overseas travel or work.”

Just declared. 5 to 10 years of travel is standard on the form. We help you gather it properly first time.

“I want to keep doing my private jobs on the side.”

Standard clearance holders can. Report material changes when they happen. That’s it.

“What are my obligations as a clearance holder?”

You must declare overseas travel, participate in mandatory travel briefings, and notify changes in your personal circumstances or behaviour (disciplinary actions, security incidents). If a security incident needs to be managed on your behalf, a $2,999 (inc GST) fee is payable. Non-payment of incident fees ends sponsorship. Full details in the engagement letter. See AGSVA clearance holder responsibilities.

Questions tradies ask us first.

No. We're your sponsor, not your employer. You keep your existing setup. Sole trader, PAYG, subbie, whatever. Your ute stays your ute. Once cleared, you go to work for whoever wants you on site.

Site access at defence-controlled sites (including Osborne / AUKUS build), work on Protected-level information, and a big pool of tier-2 supplier jobs. Baseline is the entry ticket. The vast majority of on-site trade roles need it.

Typically 2 to 6 weeks of AGSVA processing after we submit your ePack. Our side is about 1 to 2 weeks for the pre-check and paperwork prep. So realistically 3 to 8 weeks door to door.

We keep our sponsorship fee transparent, we'll give you the full figure on the call. AGSVA also charges a Commonwealth vetting fee for Baseline, paid directly to the government. Zip payment plans are available on our fee.

Almost certainly not. AGSVA cares about pattern and recency, and it cares much more about honesty than about the events themselves. If you declare it up front, older stuff usually doesn't stop a Baseline. We'll walk you through it.

Yes. Australian citizenship is mandatory for every AGSVA clearance level, including Baseline. If your citizenship application is in flight, we'll start the conversation now and lodge the day it's granted.

Yes. Baseline is often the starting point. From there you can upgrade to NV1 or NV2 if a role requires it. Because the vetting record is already in place, upgrades are usually faster than a fresh application.

If you land a role with a Para Bellum Group client (Logi-Tech, Enginium or Para Bellum Solutions) and complete at least 60 consecutive days on that contract within two years of your original clearance application, we reimburse your full sponsorship fee. Note: Para Bellum Group roles are typically cyber, systems, ICT and project management, trade-specific placements are limited. Your annual sponsorship fee is waived while you're actively on a Para Bellum contract. AGSVA fees are separate and paid to the Commonwealth. Placement is not guaranteed. Full T&Cs apply.
