The ePack walkthrough: how to fill the AGSVA eForm83 without triggering delays. Section by section.
The ePack (eForm83) is 60+ pages of questions covering 10 years of your life. Fill it carelessly and AGSVA bounces it back with queries that add 4-8 weeks each. Here is the section-by-section guide used by Logi-Tech-sponsored candidates to pass admin check first time.
The ePack is where most delays start.
AGSVA runs an admin triage before anything else. If your ePack has gaps, inconsistencies or missing documents, it bounces back with queries. Each query cycle adds 4-8 weeks. Clean ePacks move. Messy ones stall.
Around 70% of first-time submissions bounce. Not because candidates are hiding anything. Because the form is unforgiving on dates, documents and foreign-contact declarations.
“Your ePack has a gap in your address history. Please clarify.”
“Please supply supervisor contact for job #3. Expect 4-8 weeks.”
Submit a clean ePack the first time.
Logi-Tech reviews every sponsored candidate's ePack line-by-line before it goes to AGSVA. We flag the sections most likely to bounce, brief you on the parts AGSVA scrutinises hardest, and signal green only when it is ready. One submission, no query cycles.
The 4 sections that bounce most ePacks.
Four sections generate the vast majority of query cycles. Get these right and your ePack is likely to clear admin check first time. Get any of them wrong and you add 4-8 weeks per bounce.
(1) Addresses. AGSVA requires every address you lived at in the last 10 years, with dates. Any gap of more than 30 days needs explanation. (2) Employment. Every job, every gap, every reason for leaving. Supervisor contact details for each.
(3) Foreign contacts. Family overseas, friends overseas, business dealings, travel. Under-declaring is the number one bounce reason. (4) Financial. All debts, mortgages, investment properties, bankruptcy history, large deposits over $10k. AGSVA cross-checks against credit bureaus.
Bounced on admin check
Address gap in 2019. Employer #3 contact missing. Two foreign cousins not declared. AGSVA sends it back with queries. Each cycle adds 4-8 weeks.
Passes admin check first time
Every address and employer verified. Every foreign contact declared. Every supporting document attached. AGSVA moves straight to vetting. No queries, no delay.
The ePack belongs to AGSVA, not us.
We cannot fill it for you. AGSVA requires the applicant to complete and sign every section. What we do is review it before submission, flag the sections most likely to bounce, and brief you on how to word the parts that AGSVA scrutinises hardest.

Any period of 30+ days unaccounted for in your 10-year address history triggers a query. House-sitting, overseas backpacking, couch-surfing all need to be listed with the host's address.
Every job needs a current contactable supervisor. “Company closed down” or “boss unreachable” is fine but needs to be stated, with any alternative referee you can supply.
The number one bounce reason. Overseas family, foreign-born friends, overseas business contacts, foreign-national colleagues. If in doubt, declare it. Omission is the problem, not the contact.
AGSVA pulls your credit file. Any debt over $1,000 that is not declared on the ePack generates a query. Includes BNPL balances, store cards, personal loans and tax debt.
If your employment section says you left Job X in June 2022 but your address section shows you still at the matching city in September 2022, AGSVA flags it. Cross-check every date before you submit.
Payslips, lease agreements, utility bills, bank statements, ID scans. AGSVA will ask for anything that cannot be independently verified. Gather and upload everything up front.
ePack review is included with sponsorship.
Logi-Tech-sponsored candidates get a line-by-line ePack review before submission, a flagged-sections brief, and a direct contact for AGSVA follow-up questions. No extra fee. We do this because a bounced ePack costs us more in waiting than the review costs in time.

Questions about the ePack.
The ePack (officially eForm83) is AGSVA's online clearance questionnaire. It is 60+ pages covering 10 years of your addresses, employment, family, foreign contacts, travel, financial history, legal history, drug and alcohol use, and character. You complete it inside the myClearance portal once a sponsor (us) lodges your application.
No. AGSVA requires the applicant to complete and sign every section personally. What we do is review the draft before you submit it, flag sections most likely to bounce, and brief you on how to word the parts AGSVA scrutinises hardest. You stay in the driver's seat.
Do your best, declare the uncertainty, and provide the closest documentation you have (old lease, old utility bill, bank statement header). AGSVA accepts honest best-effort reconstruction. What they do not accept is a 30+ day gap with no explanation.
Yes. Any foreign national you have ongoing contact with, including in-laws, step-family, long-term friends and business contacts, is declarable. Declaring is not disqualifying. Omitting is. AGSVA assesses coercion vulnerability, not heritage.
Yes. Every job in the last 10 years, no matter how short, goes on the employment section with dates, employer, supervisor contact and reason for leaving. Short gigs are a common bounce trigger because applicants forget them and the gap shows up on a cross-reference.
Fully honest. The ePack covers drug use in the last 10 years. Experimental or infrequent past use rarely disqualifies, especially where it is clearly historical. Current regular use is a different conversation. The one thing AGSVA will not forgive is concealment that comes out during vetting.
On the financial section. Dates, amounts, discharge date, and the reason behind it (job loss, medical, business failure). Attach your discharge letter. A discharged bankruptcy from 5+ years ago, honestly disclosed with documentation, rarely blocks an NV1. An undisclosed one almost always does.
Yes, within limits. AGSVA allows applicants to add newly-remembered information (an address they missed, a job they forgot, a foreign contact that formed after submission) by raising a supplementary disclosure. The right time to update is the moment you remember, not the moment AGSVA asks. Proactive disclosures build trust. Reactive ones look like concealment.
Break the catch-22.
Fifteen minutes on the phone with our team is enough to tell you whether you qualify, what NV1 will cost, and how long it will take. No pressure, no obligation.
